"This is our world, lit with crescents and stars of light and great petals half transparent block openings like purple windows. Everything is strange." Virginia Woolf, The Waves Strange alien shapes form on the surface like creatures coming into being. Two crescents form the piece, creating a cosmic circle which also makes comments on my own physical form. It's oddly beautiful. This is my world, romanticising ideas that are quite dark. The purple windows are the windows to my soul, my eyes.
